'Pivot' is from Amy's collaboration with Marcus Hodge. a British contemporary artist whose work is known for its vitality and sculptural use of paint. The collection consists of 4 rugs based on Marcus's abstract paintings from his 'Gateway to India' series.

It is this connection to India that drew Amy originally to the paintings. Though it was quite tricky to translate onto the rugs; they consist of many many colours which Amy picked out whilst sitting in front of each one, really trying to emulate the tones of the strokes as much as possible. The pattern for the weavers went through a few trials before Amy was finally happy with the look of the rugs and that they had enough essence of the paintings in them, really illustrating the sculptured stroke effect.
